Liberty Classroom For Life

Liberty Classroom

A lot of us got crummy schooling, whether it was in high school or college. And it didn’t come cheap.

Thankfully, you can get a proper education you always wanted for less than the average college quarterly course courtesy of Tom Woods’ Liberty Classroom. It offers online classes that teach real economics while providing a freedom-based education on history and philosophy.

Some of the courses include Introduction to Logic, Western Civilization, and Western mythology and feature well-known liberty professors such as Gerard Casey, author of Libertarian Anarchy: Against the State.

I joined the first year it was available, and now I am a life-time member because it has been the best educational investment I’ve made in my entire life. It is the sort of learning I envisioned I would receive in college but for the most part did not – as a history buff, the two-part course on Western Civilization was a dream come true.

Membership affords you unlimited access to the material that you can either watch as videos or listen to as mp3s in your car. Half of these courses I’ve taken during my morning and evening commute or during workouts.

If you sign up for the lifetime membership you get that same access to any and all the new courses that come out.

Beyond the fascinating, profound concepts presented, the education obtained from these classes has without question made me a smarter, more informed libertarian and helped me understand classical works I struggled to comprehend on my own. For example, I have directly applied lessons from Casey’s logic course in my writing or while addressing logical fallacies in mainstream arguments. I’m also working on a side project that involves mythology and needed to understand it better; the course by Bradley J. Birzer was absolutely incredible and provided a thorough history of why mythology matters.

If nothing else, Liberty Classroom saves you the time and effort trying to figure out who or what to trust out there on these topics.

And best of all, you’re getting an education from professors at top-notch universities without having to actually apply and pay the regular tuition rates as the normal students. I don’t know about you, but I don’t care about a piece of paper. I care about knowledge.
