‘Muh Hate Speech – Be Careful What You Wish For

RamzPaul is one of my favorite people to follow on Twitter. Not only is he smart, but he has a razor-sharp wit that condenses a 1,000 word essay I might write into 160 characters or less.

All those who promote the notion of hate speech do so under the assumption that they will always be the one holding the gun, i.e. determining what constitutes illegal speech. It baffles me to no end that one could possibly envision a world where your viewpoint is the dominant one continuously and without interruption.

They should be careful for what they wish for, because the precedent they set will ultimately be used by their enemies when they one day gain control over the government, and as I’ve said repeatedly, I won’t shed a tear when they get hauled off to jail for refusing to toe the line on some right-wing talking point when they either remained silent or endorsed similar actions against their opponents.

Imagine the day when those who deny differences between races and genders must do so secretly and among themselves anonymously online under fear of losing their jobs or having mobs show up outside their door with the tacit approval of society.

Don’t like that possibility? Think twice before labeling speech you don’t like “hate.”

They won’t ever listen. Like the parasites they are, all they understand is their appetites of the moment with no concern for their future or fellow man.

“Imagine the day when those who deny differences between races and genders must do so secretly and among themselves anonymously online under fear of losing their jobs or having mobs show up outside their door with the tacit approval of society.”

The parasites would only shift to doing good until evil becomes profitable once again. Their moral faults would go undiscovered and uncorrected. That’s why God set up a world in which good requires constant effort and evil only “hey, that felt great”.

Heaven is where evil people must train hard to prevent unintended kindness, where it’s a lifetime achievement born of self-sacrifice just to steal beer from a gas station. That makes it an unsuitable place for untested character.
