Give No Quarter

Vice President Elect Mike Pence recently got booed during a performance of a musical about Alexander Hamilton. He was later giving a moral lecture by the cast and a far worse reception from the audience.

Gary North says Pence got what he deserved for paying an absurd amount of money to see a tasteless musical about a politically flawed man whom we should not admire. I appreciate North’s perspective, but he’s applying the wrong lens to this incident. This wasn’t about Hamilton’s politics. Pence wasn’t booed for what he thought of Hamilton.

Pence paid $1,700 to attend a Broadway musical starring a sexual degenerates as an olive branch to show to the New York elitists in attendance now calling to make pedophilia a “disorder” that while he disapproves of their deviant lifestyles he’s not going to put them in concentration camps as they, in their mentally ill state, actually believe he intends to do.

Instead of gracefully accepting the olive branch, the audience in particular stomped on it. The Left showed how tolerance from the Right will be received, with contempt. You either submit to The Vision they have created for the society or you are castigated while expected to maintain decorum.

The pretense of civility must give way to reality; the nation has narrowly avoided civil strife, so the Progs will push the limits as far as they can.

I found the statement delivered to Pence by one of the cast members to be quite amusing.

We are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values, and work on behalf of all of us.

Vox Day correctly identifies the underlying issue at stake, in that “there is no negotiating, compromising, or living with the Diverse, who are not, have never been, and will never be, Americans, and who, like their immigrant forebears, are falsifying American history in an attempt to claim it for themselves.”

No quarter will be given, so no quarter should be offered.

Being an anarchist, I obviously did not vote for Pence or his running mate, but it would do him well to realize that this is a war they are waging and finding common ground, or a peaceful resolution, with them is impossible. Gird your loins or be destroyed.

The Progs should note well that this insult will only hasten the day the Saxon relearns to hate, and when that happens all pleas for civility will fall on deaf ears.

Pence got all the way to Vice-Prez without learning this lesson? I learned it before graduating high school. Gary North is right, he deserved the disrespect. Even if it was a political stunt, it was foolish. Pretending to be yet another ranking Republican trying to “cross the aisle” is no way to gather new support.

Alt-Right rhetoric notwithstanding, Trump looks like business as usual so far. He even appointed a woman to be U.N. Ambassador–there goes patriarchy.

I find it more foolish for Pence’s enemies to treat him this way. You don’t mock your enemy after he’s just won a victory. All this will do is reaffirm exactly what he thought of them. It goes to show the total lack of discernment in the Left.

Which is what I expected. Hillary was too much, I suspect, for even some Deep Staters to stomach. Trump won’t cause damage and he’s not going to upset the cart either way. It only goes to show how mentally disturbed the Left is. They think a moderate liberal nationalist such as Trump is literally Hitler. Lulzlzl.

Bullying and mockery have worked against Republicans since FDR threatened to pack the Supreme Court. They have no reason (yet) to think Trump’s administration will be any different and, like me, viewed Pence’s attendance at an expensive virtue-signaling party as a sign of weakness. He acted like food and the sharks predictably attacked.
