Good article by John Whitehead about what the life of Jesus might have been like had he been born today.
My only contention is the subtle inference that Jesus Christ had a political agenda. Also, he wasn’t crucified by the Romans because they wanted him dead, but because the religious leaders did and threatened to start a mob riot if he wasn’t executed. Under Roman law, the Jews did not have the authority to execute anyone; only the Romans could. If they had, they would have done it themselves.
The mob vote to crucify Jesus Christ instead of a convicted murderer, Barabbas, is yet one more reason why Christians should dismiss the validity of democracy as means of determining the morality of a decision.
And a Merry Christmas.
