Diversity Doesn’t Care

I have to give credit to Rollo Tomassi at the Rational Male for inspiring the concept behind this post.

I feel like a bit of clarification is order for some of you out there in the world about what we’re dealing with.

Diversity doesn’t care what you have to say.

Diversity doesn’t care what you think of it.

Diversity doesn’t care if you never meant to offend anyone.

Diversity doesn’t care that you were tolerant and accepting.

Diversity doesn’t care that you were non-judgmental.

Diversity doesn’t care how politically correct you are.

Diversity doesn’t care that you donated to liberal causes.

Diversity doesn’t care that you oppose racism and racial supremacy.

Diversity doesn’t care that you refused to laugh at that one racial joke your friend told at the bar.

Diversity doesn’t care that you’re a “good white person, unlike those racists.”

Diversity doesn’t care that you chastised your parents for not being “open-minded” enough about Bruce Jenner.

Diversity doesn’t care how great an LBGTQ ally you were.

Diversity doesn’t care that you agreed with every shibboleth that came out of your Marxist college professor’s mouth.

Diversity doesn’t care that you attended all their rallies and protests.

Diversity doesn’t care that as a soldier you preemptively apologized to them for any possible offensive things that could theoretically be said to them behind their burka.

Diversity doesn’t care if you think they’re peaceful.

Diversity doesn’t care that you changed your Facebook profile picture with one of their slogans.

Diversity doesn’t care that you chose to drive through the wrong part of town to prove to yourself you’re not racist.

Diversity doesn’t care your parents, and their grandparents’ grandparents, never owned slaves or joined the Klan.

Diversity doesn’t care that you’re first-generation American.

Diversity doesn’t care that both your grandparents’ families came from abject poverty.

Diversity doesn’t care that you were always willing to check your privilege every time.

Diversity doesn’t care if you were fighting the patriarchy.

Diversity doesn’t care if you “stepped aside.”

Diversity doesn’t care if you supported equal gender pay.

Diversity doesn’t care if you think their lives matter and yours does not.

Diversity doesn’t care if you think Trayvon Martin was a saint and George Zimmerman should have been convicted.

Diversity doesn’t care if you think Michael Brown was a gentle giant.

Diversity doesn’t care if you cheerfully celebrated losing a job due to affirmative action hire.

Diversity doesn’t care if you actively worked hard to ensure you never committed a micro-aggression.

Diversity doesn’t care that you never violated their safe space.

Diversity doesn’t care that you believe all men (and women, and those who don’t identity within their binary gender) are created equal.

Diversity doesn’t care you apologized for every single thing your ancestors did, or at least someone did who happened to have the same color skin as you.

Diversity doesn’t care if you criticize police militarization and oppose qualified immunity.

Diversity doesn’t care if you oppose the War on Drugs and the minimum wage because of the negative effects on minority communities.

Diversity doesn’t care if you opposed the Iraq War and all other wars of aggression against non-white people.

Diversity doesn’t care if you support race reparations.

Diversity doesn’t care if you think a white student’s union is evil.

Diversity doesn’t care if you lost a debate with them because you didn’t want to bring up crime stats.

Diversity doesn’t care if you chose to live in a neighborhood where you were a minority in order to learn from others.

Diversity doesn’t care that you won’t buy guns.

Diversity doesn’t care how you apologized for getting a STEM degree while they went into ethnic studies.

Diversity doesn’t care you ignored the hoodie kids outside the grocery store stealing a bicycle.

Diversity doesn’t care you adopted children from Africa hellholes, or how that turned out for you.

Diversity doesn’t care how sincere you are about your desire for peace and reconciliation between ethnic groups.

Diversity doesn’t care you take the words Martin Luther King, Jr seriously, even if they don’t.

Diversity doesn’t care you have posters of Che Guevara, Bob Marley, and Nelson Mandela in your bedroom.

Diversity doesn’t care you always vote Democrat and danced in the street when Obama was elected in 2008.

Diversity doesn’t care you chose not to scream at them when you found them sitting on your car in the parking lot outside of your work.

Diversity doesn’t care that you ignored them when they harassingly called you “white boy” in high school.

Diversity doesn’t care your home was broken into as a child by an ethnic gang, and that the brother of the gang leader just happened to be the ex-boyfriend of your next door neighbor’s daughter.

Diversity doesn’t care if they hit you with a car they didn’t own and refused to provide a drivers license and insurance they didn’t have.

Diversity doesn’t care if you avoid using gender-specific language.

Diversity doesn’t care if you allowed a “transgender” woman to shower alongside you while staring at your naked body.

Diversity doesn’t care how committed you are to social justice or how amazing a social justice warrior you are.

Diversity doesn’t care if you think feminism is the greatest “f-word,” too.

Diversity doesn’t care if you believe we live in a rape culture.

Diversity doesn’t care if you are trying to “fight The Man,” too.

Diversity doesn’t care that you held a peace vigil after your daughter and her boyfriend was brutally raped and murdered, rather than call for the misguided youth killer’s head on a platter.

Diversity doesn’t care if you celebrate Kwanza along with Christmas.

Diversity doesn’t care if you favor open borders and call anyone who doesn’t a bigot.

Diversity doesn’t care if you welcomed them with open arms.

Diversity doesn’t care if you’re anti-war.

Diversity doesn’t care if you oppose the state.

Diversity doesn’t care if you differentiate between capitalism and the free market.

Diversity doesn’t care if you’re a libertarian, or how “thick” your “humanitarianism” happens to be compared to those “brutalists” who are ruining the good name of libertarianism.

Diversity doesn’t care if you’re neither white nor male.

Diversity doesn’t care who’s right or who’s wrong.

Diversity doesn’t care what the facts or statistics say.

Diversity doesn’t care about logic or reasoning.

Diversity doesn’t care about the truth.
