Another video has been released from undercover work by the Center for Medical Progress concerning Planned Parenthood. Except it was released by someone else, because the courts have violated their
First Amendment rights issued an injunction to prevent the Center from doing it.
According to conservative blogger Matt Walsh, a woman in the video makes the following statement in response to a question as to how pro-choicers should respond to pro-life activists showing pictures of aborted children (emphasis added).
“Ignoring the fetus is a luxury of activists and advocates… The women know what’s in there. They’re not stupid… I actually think we should be less about denying the reality of those images and more about acknowledging that, yeah, that’s quite a truth. So, given that we actually see the fetus the same way, and given that we might actually both agree that there’s violence in here, ask me why I come to work every day… Let’s just give them all the violence, IT’S A PERSON, IT’S KILLING. Let’s just give them all that… And then the more compelling question is, ‘So, why is this the most important thing I could do with my life?'”
This whole thing has gotten past the point of ridiculous. Whenever I hear some first-year biology student rambling about how the unborn are just zygotes, I conclude they are either indoctrinated or lying.
At least this woman had the temerity to be honest about what they do, a point Walsh thinks should be at the center of the discussion:
Pro-aborts: abortion doctors admit they are murdering human babies, and they think it’s funny. How do you feel about that? Forget tissue sale. How do you feel about the fact that you are in favor of something the abortion industry itself describes as killing babies? How do you feel when you hear a room full of cackling psychos laugh and applaud at the thought of a dead child’s eyeballs rolling around on the floor?
That’s the question. That should be what we talk about when we talk about these videos.
All I can say is the undercover reporter must have been thinking the whole time “I’m a pilgrim in an unholy land.”
Just like the U.S. government’s bombing of Third World countries, it’s bad enough it goes on at all; compounding it is that these people are paid through government funding, which means tax dollars. My money. My grandchildren’s futures are being mortgaged to pay for it.
Sadder is the fact that this is just a pebble in a pail full of atrocities funded by the federal and state governments, atrocities I’m coerced into providing my earned dollars to. But I’m just a rebellious libertarian who doesn’t want to pay the price for civilization – nothing to do with not wanting my dollars to finance murder wholesale here and abroad.
I have now concluded that one of the most morally upright things a man can do is go out of his way to avoid paying taxes as much as possible. It should be a part time job. Tax avoidance is a libertarian virtue (RIP Irwin Schiff). The less money we send to these bastards, the less they have to pay for their pet projects. I have no moral obligation to give the state any money to begin with, but if I can avoid doing so without threats of violence or actual violence, then I will do so.
