Obama has apologized to Doctors Without Borders for the hospital bombing in Afghanistan.
Incidentally, the apology doesn’t involve him giving up his Nobel Peace Prize for bombing another recipient of the award. They can’t help but call it a “terrible mistake.”
A mistake is when you forget to tie your shoe laces before a race. Bombing a hospital in an undeclared war in another nation and killing innocent people is a crime….unless you’re the state.
You have to love the lead sentence to this story (emphasis added).
President Obama called Doctors Without Borders to apologize for the U.S. bombing of its hospital in Afghanistan and to promise changes to procedures if necessary….
Yes, we’ll find ways to avoid killing innocent people, if necessary.
Yes, we’ll cease bombing other people’s countries, if necessary.
The only way the apology could get worse is if they lifted inspiration from South Park (warning: crude humor).
