Good grief!

Watching the debates and heated exchanges on Facebook over the past week concerning Confederate flags and gay marriage has only reminded me of why I don’t debate people there anymore. I’ll have friendly discussions in private groups, but all these publicly displayed arguments inevitably reduce themselves to the most absurd logical fallacies and irrational ex cathedra pronouncements.

My former self wishes to enter the fray and dispense with these political zombies, but we all know how it will end.

Don’t do it. Just don’t do it. You have better things to do with your life, and you will not convince anyone of anything.

Just sit back and watch the show, my friends.
