The “Uncrpytic” Madeline Albright

In the Seattle area there is an exhibit featuring 200 pins belonging to former Secretary of State Madeline Alright. An editorial in the Seattle Times remarks:

About the letter to Iranian officials, signed by 47 Republican senators, intended to undermine a U.S. nuclear agreement, she said, “It’s an outrageous letter. It has done real harm to our country.”

The Bellevue Arts Museum exhibit is called “Read My Pins,” but clearly Albright’s opinions are rarely that cryptic. (bold emphasis added).

Yes, like when she told 60 Minutes the deaths of half a million Iraqi children due to U.S. sanctions was “worth it” for the sake of American Exceptionalism. Cryptic, it was not.
